Meet Our Team

Dr Sharnan Huynh is the principal dentist of Full Care Dental. She graduated in 2001 with Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours) from University of Queensland. While enjoying all aspects of Dentistry, she is most interested in cosmetic dentistry and oral surgery.

Her interest in the field is to help improve and provide a wide range of options to restore teeth to the original smile so patients can enjoy the quality of life. Dr Sharnan also likes to put a strong focus on preventative dentistry rather than waiting for a problem to transpire. She believes that prevention is always better than a cure.

Dr Sharnan is committed to gently providing the highest standard of patient care making sure that every patient is completely at ease and relaxed during their treatment, as well as explaining treatment plans and procedures in a simple and easy-to-understand manner.

In her past times, she would hang out with her family. They like to go and do outdoor activities like bush walking and swimming. Her special interests are in growing orchids.

Dr Ariel Shih completed Bachelor of Dental Surgery at James Cook University with the Pierre Fauchard Award for academic excellence and leadership. Ariel was born in Taiwan and have been living in Brisbane since 7 years old. She is fluent in Chinese Mandarin, Taiwanese as well as English.

Ariel has had experience working in many different settings in Vanuatu, Cairns, Tasmania and Proserpine before returning to Brisbane again in 2017. Ariel strives to deliver the best quality dentistry while providing stress-free dental experience for her patients as much as possible.

Apart from work, Ariel is also very passionate about classical music. Ariel plays the violin and the piano, and is a violinist in the Brisbane Symphony Orchestra.

Paz is our Practice Manager at Full Care Dental.  She has a Bachelors degree in Commerce at Griffith University and Certificate III in Dental Assisting.  She has a close relationship with Dr Sharnan, having worked with her as our Front Office Coordinator and dental assistant at Sunnybank for over 12 years.  Paz has a very bubbly personality and is a team player who focuses on the teams needs and also our patients.  She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team and has a particularly strong focus on ensuring each patient’s visit is an ‘exceptional’ one.

You will often see Paz holding the portable Dyson vacuum, zipping around the surgery in the morning and late afternoon.  In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her family, reading books on her Kindle and going for hikes with friends.

Linda has been with the Full Care Dental team for 8 years.  She is our Front Office Coordinator at Jindalee, Social Network Coordinator and when needed she enjoys dental assisting.  She is very friendly, easy to talk to and softly spoken.  Linda is a valued team member as she is multi-skilled.  She prides herself on her work ethic and strives to help provide patients with the best quality of care and to ensure their dental experience is second to none.

Outside of work you can find her going away for the weekend and exploring places with her partner .  If she isn’t outdoors she can be found at Initial Tea in Sunnybank enjoying her favourite Watermelon Tea or at one of the many cafés enjoying food with good company.  Linda also speaks Vietnamese.

Tarana has been a dental assistant for about 6 years.  Although she has a Bachelors Degree in Dentistry from Bangladesh, due to her family commitments here in Australia, she has yet to go get certified to become a dentist.  Tarana is a valued team member, she is multi lingual and can also speak Bangla and Hindi.  She is gentle in her care in assisting patient to feel comfortable and at ease.  You will see Tarana giggling at most time and also in a  happy mood.

In her spare time, she would be spending time with her husband and young daughter.  She loves to cook her cultural food and meet up with her friends and their families to enjoy their cooking together.

Bich has recently returned from her maternity leave.  Her bubbly personality makes every patient we treat feel welcomed and loved.  She is a skilled organiser, insistent upon seeing that everything in our office be neat and in place.  Bich has a background in nursing and she currently holds Certificate III in Dental Assisting and been in the field for 7 years.

She prides herself on her work ethic and strives to help provide patients with the best quality of care and to ensure their dental experience is second to none.

In her spare time, she loves spending time relaxing and cooking with her husband and daughter.

Jenny is the youngest member of our team.  She is currently studying Bachelor of Nursing whilst working with us. She has worked in the dentistry field for over 1 year and has amazed us with her development of clinical skills and patient care. She is constantly proving to us that she is a vital member of our team. She strives to be the best that she can be every time she walks into work with a big smile.

When she is not working, she enjoys going out with friends, taking photos of her food adventures and working on her health and fitness.
