Teeth Whitening

Teeth discolouration is when the enamel (the hard, outer surface of the tooth) or the dentine (the layer below the enamel) becomes discoloured. Something as simple as food and drink may cause stains to appear on the teeth.

For stained or discoloured teeth, bleaching can lighten teeth that have not responded to professionally cleaning. It is a safe procedure when done by a qualified dentist. Bleaching may not be appropriate in people who have oral symptoms of some disease.

Home Bleaching

We provide take home teeth whitening kits for patients. A custom made tray is made to fit your mouth and the bleaching gel is placed in the tray to whiten your teeth.  The daily bleaching process is continues until you are happy with the appearance of your teeth, however sometimes it is not possible to achieve white teeth through bleaching alone.

In Office Bleaching

For patients wanting a faster bleaching result, we offer in office bleaching. This procedure takes about an hour and a stronger bleaching gel is applied to the teeth in a professional environment, whilst protecting the rest of the mouth. Whilst this kick starts the process, we suggest the take home whitening kits to help maintain the brightness of the teeth over time.
